The EX-F1 lets you shoot beautiful 1920 x 1080-pixel Full HD movies at a frame rate of 60 fields per second. A commercially available HDMI cable can be used to connect to a Full HD TV for big screen viewing.
You can shoot up to 20 snapshots with 6-megapixel while a movie is being recorded with Full HD, HD and standard mode and movie recording is continued seamlessly after also the snapshot is recorded. Simply press the shutter button during recording a movie.
The flash cannot be used when shooting snapshots in movie.
This function does not apply, while High-speed Movie or YouTube™ CAPTURE MODE set.
Viewing on a TV
A commercially available HDMI cable can be used to connect the camera to an HD TV for big screen viewing of images.
*Connect the cable to the camera's HDMI mini terminal.
Viewing on a Computer
The camera comes with a USB cable that can be used to connect it to a computer. It also comes with ArcSoft TotalMedia・Extreme for CASIO software for copying Full HD movies to a computer.
Viewing from a DVD
The ArcSoft TotalMedia・Extreme for CASIO software that comes with the camera can be used to write Full HD movies to a DVD. Discs can be played back on a device that supports AVCHD playback.
